The interior favors clean lines and open living spaces over a heavily decorated look, finished in a mix of stone and wood. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors bring in the ocean view from the elevated position, and the kitchen is set up minimalist with high-end appliances rather than an oversized show kitchen. The main living area includes a full entertainment system, sized for a group of fourteen rather than a smaller party.

The infinity pool is the centerpiece of the outdoor terrace, positioned so the water appears to merge with the ocean beyond it from the elevated hillside site. Loungers and shaded seating line the terrace, and there's a dedicated space for outdoor dining -- useful for a group this size that will likely eat outside more often than in.

Seven en-suite bedrooms accommodate up to fourteen guests. The master suite has its own terrace with ocean views, in keeping with the villa's hillside position, and the other six bedrooms are furnished with modern pieces and upgraded linens, sized to work for a mix of couples and families sharing the house.

Anse des Cayes is an established residential area on St Barts, and Firefly sits in its hills rather than down at the waterline. That elevated position is what delivers the sweeping ocean views, at the cost of not being a beach-walk-out property. The area is a short drive from the island's more active dining and shopping areas, which suits a group that wants quiet in the evenings and access to the rest of the island during the day.
